Dental Clinic
Need to See a Dentist? Melissa Merz, D.D.S. is responsible for providing fillings, non-surgical extractions, amalgam and composite restorations and health education to Muskingum County residents. Services are provided at the Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department (205 N. 7^th Street, Zanesville). All services are offered by appointment. Fees are based on income and can be paid by the Medical Card.

Dr. Merz has most recently worked with Dr. Sidney Price, D.D.S. of Columbus, Ohio as a Dentist working with underserved children. She is a recent graduate of The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. For information: 454-9741 extension 171. 

Dental Sealant Program
The Health Department dental sealant team travels to schools throughout Muskingum, Guernsey, Morgan and Noble Counties applying sealants that save kids’ teeth from tooth decay.
