School Safety Inspection

The Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department inspects each school building, both public and private, in Muskingum County twice each school year to ensure schools are healthy.

Our sanitarians inspect for things such as unsafe chemicals, playgrounds, cleanliness, and other items that may be harmful to the health of the students, staff and visitors.
